ECO Start/Stop system

An ECO Start/Stop system automatically shuts off the engine at stoplights and other idle situations, to help save fuel and reduce emissions. As soon as the driver lifts off the brake, the engine instantly restarts, for immediate acceleration response. The ECO Start/Stop system can also be shut off by the driver at any time.

2.0L inline-4 turbo engine with mild hybrid drive

Mild hybrid electrification advances the 221-hp 2.0L inline-4 turbo engine. Its 48-volt architecture and a belt-driven Starter-Generator allow fuel-free coasting, and can recapture energy during deceleration. It can also supply up to 13 hp and 110 lb-ft of torque for added response on demand. And the gasoline engine is further enhanced with a more efficient turbocharger, CAMTRONIC variable valve lift, and friction-reducing CONICSHAPE cylinders with NANOSLIDE walls.

DYNAMIC SELECT

A multimode drive program selector on the console lets you transform the car's character with the touch of a button. Active Brake Assist

Radar-based technology can alert you if you're approaching a vehicle ahead, or even some stationary objects, at a speed and distance that suggest a collision is likely. As soon as you start to brake, it can automatically provide an appropriate level of braking to help prevent a collision or reduce its severity.
