2.0L Turbo Direct Injection 4-Cylinder Engine

The 208-hp 2.0-liter turbo four in the CLA250 combines numerous advances to deliver more power from less fuel. Its rapid-multispark ignition and high-pressure Direct Injection can fine-tune themselves in milliseconds. Its twin-scroll turbo quickly spins up to 230,000 rpm to boost response, with all of the engine's 258 lb-ft of torque on tap at just 1,250 rpm. Widely variable timing of all 16 valves and innovative 3-phase cooling team up to reduce emissions while raising your emotions.

ECO Start/Stop System

A fuel-saving ECO Start/Stop system automatically shuts off the engine at stoplights and other idle situations. As soon as the driver lifts off the brake, the engine instantly restarts, for immediate acceleration response. The ECO Start/Stop system can also be shut off by the driver at any time.

7-Speed DCT Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission

The racing-inspired 7-speed transmission combines the sporty response of a manual, the smooth refinement of an automatic, and better efficiency than either. Dual clutches offer quicker gear changes than a human can shift a traditional manual gearbox, while three overdrive ratios boost highway mpg. Selectable ECO, Sport and Manual modes let you favor fully automatic efficiency and comfort, intensified response, or shift-for-yourself excitement via the steering wheel-mounted shift paddles.

Flowing curves are joined by crisp, sweeping arcs to create a three-dimensional sculpture that's enticing from every angle. Frameless door glass, an expressive front fascia and taut proportions define it as a true, and truly modern, Mercedes-Benz 4-door coupe.

Diamond-block grille

Bold, wide and upright, the CLA grille is an instantly recognizable icon of automotive passion. While its curved borders are echoed in the headlamps and draw the eye to its bulging "twin power dome" hood, its impeccable detail inspires more than a lingering glance. Radiating from the central Star is a series of intricate hexagonal "pins," each one individually shaped by the car's designer to optimize both aesthetics and airflow. Each pin is tipped in chrome with the optional Sport Package.

Separate left and right temperature controls allow the driver and front passenger to enjoy personalized comfort. In addition to fully automatic or manual control of blower speed and airflow distribution, the system includes a dust and pollen filter that helps keep particles as small as 0.0002-inch from entering the cabin. Five adjustable vents in the dash and a pair of rear-cabin air vents help maintain passenger enjoyment throughout the cabin.

12-Way Power Driver Seat With Memory

Intuitive, seat-shaped controls help you find your ideal driving position with 12-way power adjustment, including 4-way power lumbar support. A memory system for the driver seat recalls three stored positions for the seat plus the power side mirrors.
